Stair Lift News

Premier league footballer gets stair lift

An English premier league footballer has had a stair lift installed in his home.

Dan Gosling is recovering from a cruciate ligament injury which has left him out of the game for months.

And his team Everton have installed a stair lift to help avoid the chance of a further injury when he takes to the stairs, the Daily Star has reported.

Stannah undergoes new rebranding.

Leading stair lift manufacturer Stannah has announced a change to its branding.

The company has introduced a new logo and other changes which include new vehicle liveries, workwear and signage.

And there's a new company motto: "Always true to our word."

The UK company, based in Andover, Hampshire, is an independent business.

Boss Jon Stannah said:  "“By remaining true to our family values we have been quietly successful - expanding to have operating companies throughout the UK and all over the world.”

Online retailer offers to buy back your stair lift

An online stair lift seller is offering to buy stair lifts from owners.

The firm will purchase Ameriglide and Summit stair lifts from customers who no longer require them.

Stairlifts will then be reconditioned and sold again.

4 Stair Lifts boss Gerry Graham said: “We are proud to announce our buy back program for AmeriGlide and Summit stair lifts.

"These reliable machines sometimes outlast their need for use, and it is our pleasure to buy them back and sell them at discounted prices to further serve our customer base.”

Stair lifts sold back to the public this way will have a 90-day warrantee.
